In Tucson, like many other towns and cities across the country, musicians tend to perform in various bands, picking up work where it can be found. For a brief blip in time, from 1992-2000, there was a group of five musicians that came together, became a working band and gave it all to the one group. -

Dan Davis, a member of the Determined Luddites and Big Galoot, has been putting on his annual Piano Burn for some years in the desert just a few miles outside of Tucson. Dan works on pianos for a living and the ones that see no hope of musical revival have quite a different and noble fate in store.
